We are the world’s first

The Muse turns the gap between lessons into structured, motivated practice –  giving parents full visibility into the learning process, and making home practice more fun for children.

  • Fun and motivational hom practice – Streaks, stars, and activities keep children engaged well beyond day one.
  • No more guessing what to do at home – A clear weekly plan is generated automatically after every lesson, with daily tasks to be completed for rewards.
  • Progress parents can actually see – Weekly reports show exactly what has been practised, without needing to ask.
  • Less nagging, more music – The Muse guides the practice session, so less pressure falls on the parent.

Music education can be better

After teaching over 90k lessons, we learned some things

There's often little structure between lessons

Without a clear weekly focus, playing at home becomes inconsistent and unfocused – that is, if it happens at all!

Getting children to practice is not often a source of joy

Reminders can get annoying, and music starts to feel like pressure.

Motivation to play drops

Enthusiasm fades fast when there are no goals, rewards, or milestones to reach.

Progress is hard to measure

Parents are generally in the dark in regards to how their kids are really doing with their lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions

Muse is designed specifically for children and meets current child safety standards. There are no adverts, no social features, and no interaction with strangers. The app operates in a closed, supervised environment accessible only through a parent-linked account.

Muse collects only the information needed to provide the service – a name, instrument, and practice activity. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties. Full details are set out clearly in the privacy policy, which is available before sign-up.

No — and that is rather the point. Muse is designed so that children can follow the plan independently. Parents receive a summary of what happened, without needing to be present, prompt, or chase during the week.

Each week, a clear progress report is available showing which activities were completed, how many sessions took place, and whether the weekly goals were met. It is written in plain language – no scores or technical ratings — so it is easy to understand at a glance and useful to share with the teacher if needed.

Muse includes a weekly practice plan, guided activities, progress tracking and simple parent summaries. The aim is to make practice between lessons clearer, more consistent and easier to support.

Muse is designed to support the days between lessons, not replace them. Families use the app during the week to follow the plan, track progress and keep practice moving.

That is normal. Muse is designed to support steady habits over time, not perfect routines, so pupils can pick things up again without feeling the whole week has been lost.
